Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani female born to a Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Her parents are Russian and Indian. She choreographed an 11-year-old performance which earned her an appearance on German TV appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into a jovial Indian dancer. After completing the high school level and college in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After the high school year, she took acting classes at HB but left for improv at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. The couple divorced when she was 13 years young and was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. Television actress best known for her portrayal of former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans.
